Bethlehem’s annual “Letters to Santa” program will begin on Monday, November 26. Boxes will be picked up at locations throughout town on December 14. Letters received on or before December 14 will be answered before Christmas. Parents, grandparents and relatives who have young children in the family are encouraged to write letters and place them in the “Santa Boxes.” Please make sure you include the child´s name and address.
Look for "Letters to Santa" boxes at the following locations: Becker, Eagle, Elsmere, Glenmont, Hamagrael, Slingerlands, and St. Thomas elementary schools as well as Town Hall, Bethlehem Public Library, McCarroll’s, and Stewarts Shops on Delaware Ave., Cherry Ave., Feura Bush, Glenmont, and Selkirk.

The Board operates the Conservation Easement Exemption program for the Town which consists of the review of conservation easement agreement applications. The Board will also advise the town on all open space planning efforts.
The Conservation Easement Exemption program is intended to conserve open space lands, help maintain the character of the Town, and provide financial incentives and assistance to those landowners willing to forego development and maintain open space.
