Selkirk Fire District Election 12/12 - duly registered residents of the Fire District shall be eligible to vote

Tuesday, December 12, 2017

Annual Public Election for the position of one (1) Commissioner for the term of one five (5) year term commencing January 1, 2018 and expiring on December 31, 2022. The election will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at all three (3) fire stations. All duly registered residents of the Selkirk Fire District shall be eligible to vote.

PUBLIC ELECTION NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that the Selkirk Board of Fire Commissioners of the Town of Bethlehem, Albany County, State of New York, will hold the Annual Public Election for the position of one (1) Commissioner for a five (5) year term commencing on January 1, 2018 and ending on December 31, 2022. The election will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the following locations:
         Fire Station No. 1, 126 Maple Avenue, Selkirk
         Fire Station No. 2, 301 Glenmont Road, Glenmont
         Fire Station No. 3, 480 Bridge Street, South Bethlehem

The last day to file petitions for candidates of office is November 22, 2017. Petitions must be obtained from, and filed with the District Secretary.

Note, as with public commissioner meetings, reasonable accommodations and access are available.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that all resident electors who have resided in the Selkirk District for a period of thirty (30) days prior to the date of the Annual Election and who are duly registered to vote with the Albany County Board of Elections on or before November 20, 2017 as required by Town Law § 175-a, shall be entitled to vote at this Annual Election.
