Drumming for Wellness
Presenter: John and Heidi Kowalchyk, Ripple Effect Spiritual Therapies
Drumming promotes mental, emotional, physical and spiritual wellness. We will discuss the health benefits of drumming as well as lead participants in a drumming experience. With minimal instruction you’ll see yourself drumming with others, feeling uplifted, energetic, and joyful as you get lost in the rhythm. No experience is necessary. Drums are provided, feel free to bring your own.

Preserving memories and protecting our brain is something that all of us can do. We’ll talk about life-style choices and how the decisions we make will help our memory and brain to stay healthy. Caring for the most important part of the human body contributes to living healthy, aging well and can improve your quality of life. If you know someone who may have memory loss, tips and strategies will also be provided to help create meaningful interactions.

This program will discuss the Mediterranean diet principles, the health benefits of the Mediterranean diet, and show you the Mediterranean Diet Pyramid. Participants will sample a tasty Mediterranean recipe, and go home with some great recipes/resources to use for a better you!
