Fall Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics Collection Day, 8 a.m. - 1 p.m., Saturday 9/30

The Fall Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics Recycling Collection Day will take place on Saturday, September 30, 2017, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Town Highway Garage, 74 Elm Avenue East, Selkirk. For your safety please remain in your vehicle, workers will unload the wastes.

NOTE: For residents unable to participate on the designated date due to religious observance or other conflicts of schedule, we can accommodate an earlier drop off through a special arrangement. Please contact the Recycling Office to schedule an alternative time to drop off your materials before Saturday, September 30th. The Recycling Office can be reached at 518-439-4955 extension 1510 or by email at recycle@townofbethlehem.org.

RECYCLING THROUGHOUT THE YEAR

Electronics:  Recycle TVs, computers, printers, monitors, peripherals, etc. and all cables year-round at the Town’s Rupert Road Transfer Station. Fees may apply.

Clothing and Textiles: Clothing, footwear, and textiles can also be recycled in the collection bins at the CDTA Elm Ave Park & Ride, Town Municipal Lot at 407 Kenwood Avenue (by Hughes Opticians), the Rupert Road Transfer Station or with local charitable organizations.  See www.townofbethlehem.org/recycle for details.

Mixed Paper, Cardboard and Books: Recycle at the Town’s Rupert Road Transfer Station (except hardcover books) or in the Cascade Recovery recycling dumpsters located at the Elm Avenue CDTA Park & Ride or the Town Municipal Lot at 407 Kenwood Ave, Delmar (by Hughes Opticians).
