Town buildings closed - Update

Town buildings are closed to help stem the spread of COVID-19, but we are adjusting the way we work to continue delivering services. Visit the web pages of each department/service for more information. Use the blue “Notify me” button to sign up for email or text updates on important Town issues and meetings.

Parks – All parks are open; practice social distancing of 6+ feet; all playgrounds and basketball courts are closed and group activities not permitted; the summer registration lottery deadline is extended to June 12; tennis courts re-open May 15 with safety requirements; Elm Avenue Park Pool Complex closed indefinitely for Summer 2020

Senior Services – programs and transportation suspended; we are checking on our most vulnerable and isolated residents; contact: 518-439-4955 x1173 or wvail@townofbethlehem.org

Food Pantry – supplies available by appointment; contact: 518-439-4955 x1169 Please donate at Delmar Marketplace / McCarroll’s

Bill Payment – pay online, by mail, or use the Town Hall drop box

Meetings – Planning Board, Town Board, and Zoning Board of Appeals meetings are being held on their normal schedule by live-streamed video-conference; use the blue "Meetings" button to visit the Meetings portal to watch or view past meetings, agendas, and minutes

Highway – limited brush and bagged leaf collection underway (spring cleanup); no leaf vacuuming; contact: 518-439-4955 x1598, mdorsey@townofbethlehem.org

*The Town’s Transfer Station and Compost Facility remain OPEN regular hours to provide essential services during the pandemic. NOTE: Please be sure to wear a mask/face covering at these facilities, and practice safe social distancing as much as possible.

Assessor – The Assessor’s office is still accepting renewals for the Senior with limited income exemption, address changes, sales verifications and grievance forms. The forms can be mailed, put in the drop box outside Town Hall, or emailed. The tentative roll will be available on our web site May 1.  See Assessment Grievance Process for new procedure.
