Police Press Release - Bethlehem Police Investigating Knife-Point Robbery of the Selkirk Stewarts

            The Bethlehem Police Department is currently investigating the knife-point robbery of the Selkirk Stewart’s, which occurred at 4:30 AM on Sunday, March 19, 2017.  A white male approximately 5’8” – 6’ tall, thin build, wearing a black mask, a black jacket and black pants entered the store and displayed a knife to the clerk.  The suspect obtained an undetermined amount of money and fled on foot southbound on Route 9W.

            Members of the Bethlehem Police Department, assisted by an Albany County Sheriff’s Department K-9, and members of the Coeymans Police Department conducted an extensive search of the area. 

            At this time we are asking that anyone who was in the area around this time, including traveling on Route 9W and saw any individuals in the area of Stewart's or south of that location, please contact Bethlehem Police Detectives at (518) 439-9973.
