Biography

Scott has a B.S. in Landscape Architecture and is a Registered Landscape Architect (RLA) with over 40 years of landscape architecture experience in transportation design, land planning, and site development in both public and private practice. Scott served as the Regional Landscape Architect for Region 1, NYSDOT for 14 years; Prior consultant to the United States Access Board for the preparation and presentation of ADA training materials; member of Bethlehem Bicycle and Pedestrian Committee since its inception in 2009; major participant in the development of the Albany County Helderberg Hudson Rail Trail as a volunteer for the Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy; Retired Warrant Officer, Army National Guard.

Scott is a resident of Glenmont.  He was first appointed to the Planning Board on January 14, 2015 and reappointed on January 8, 2020.  His current term expires: December 31, 2029.
