Biography

Brian Gyory is a Registered Landscape Architect with 10 years of experience in the field of planning and design of projects.  Brian is an Assistant Program Manager with New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation, a New York State Public Benefit Corporation, specializing in water infrastructure projects and, among other duties, is responsible for review of stormwater projects across New York State.

Brian has a degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst (B.A. - Landscape Architecture).

Prior to his appointment to the Planning Board, Brian served as a member of the Town of Bethlehem Zoning Board of Appeals from October 2016 to December 2016.  He also served on the Town’s Comprehensive Plan Update Committee (CPUC) from November 2019 to April 2022.

Brian is a resident of Delmar and was first appointed to the Planning Board on January 11, 2017.  His current term expires on December 31, 2026.  Brian has served as Chair since January 13, 2021.
