Biography
Radworth holds a BA degree in Urban Geography and Economics and a MA degree in Urban Geography/Regional Planning. He retired from New York State government after 35 years of continuous service. While employed by New York State, Radworth served at senior staff and management levels in three agencies: Office of General Services, Real Properties Management and Development Unit; Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services, Hazard Mitigation and Planning Sections; and, the Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, Planning and Research Bureau. Rad also has two years of professional planning experience in an intentional setting. His professional experience includes regional planning; strategic planning; open space and outdoor recreation planning; disaster response, recovery and hazard mitigation planning and implementation; business continuity planning and economic development. Radworth also has experience in identity/security risk management and grants writing and management. He was a member of Bethlehem 2035 Comprehensive Plan Update committee.
Radworth is a member of the all-volunteer Board of Bethlehem Senior Projects, (BSP) Inc., a Not-for-Profit organization that provides funding support for many activities of the Bethlehem Senior Services Department. He coordinated the writing of an application that resulted in BSP obtaining federal grant funds to acquire a senior van. He also volunteers as a driver/helper for the department’s transportation program.
Radworth and his wife have been residents of Bethlehem for more than 40 years. They have two adult sons who went through the Bethlehem School System.
A resident of Delmar, Rad was first appointed to the Planning Board on January 13, 2021. His current term expires on December 31, 2025.
