Paint Drop Off Year-round

PaintCare: FREE, Easy drop-off program for paint in New York State!

Consumers and small businesses now have access to convenient postconsumer paint drop-off sites for the collection, reuse and recycling of paint products (see links to acceptable products and drop off locations below).  LIMIT: 5 GALLONS PER VISIT

The program is funded through the payment of a minimal fee at the time of purchase of new paint in NYS.  “Legacy paint” that was purchased before this program went into effect in May 2022 can be dropped off at no cost.  This program was created by passage of the “Postconsumer Paint Collection Program” into state law.
