Ms. Beeler has been active in the Community in the Town of Bethlehem. She is honored to have been appointed to the Planning Board in January 2023, most recently serving on the Town’s Conservation Easement Review Board. Pat was also previously a lead in a community organization. Graduated with honors from both The College of Saint Rose and HVCC, Ms. Beeler has an extensive legal background in Court Administration. Retiring after a tenured career with the New York State Office of Court Administration. For most of her 35 year career she was the Chief Clerk of Rensselaer County Family Court. She has been responsible for performance management, employee relations, analysis and projection of staff planning and all aspects of HR management as well as the overall management and non-judicial operation of the court.
Pat used her management acumen to effectively bring about change in a sometimes stagnant structure, promoting exceptional public sector customer service. She has senior level managerial skills. Pat is a strong leader, possessing excellent analytical and communication skills. She has the demonstrated ability to resolve complicated issues and is skilled in conflict resolution. She understands the importance of confidentiality and the sensitivity required to perform her responsibilities. She is well known for her personal integrity and professionalism.
Pat was the recipient of 2007 Community Partnership Award presented by Unity House Inc., in recognition of her commitment and excellence in coordinated community response and outstanding service to victims of domestic violence.
Pat is proud to have overseen historical building construction renovations for the not-for-profit community. She is also involved in various professional and community organizations in the Capital District, serving on numerous boards in leadership roles and serves on organizational governance committees. She has helped create bylaws for not-for-profit entities. Pat has also been known to volunteer her time with animal rescue groups.
Pat enjoys her daily fitness routines, downhill and cross country skiing, sailing and international travel, collecting fine wines and most importantly quiet time with family and friends.
Pat is pleased to serve on Boards in the Capital District area of New York State, currently the Woman's Club of Albany, Capital District Community Energy and FINA, Previously, Kitten Angels, Chair of the Board of Mediation Matters. She also served as Co-chair of the Third Judicial District's Gender Fairness Committee and was a Statewide Representative to the NYS Committee on Women in the Law.
