Due to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) and Delta variant, the Town of Bethlehem Planning Board will hold its meetings via video conference / webinar and a transcript of the meeting will be provided at a later date. Members of the public may view and listen to the live meetings by visiting the Town Website / Meeting Portal http://bethlehemtownny.iqm2.com/Citizens/Default.aspx … and selecting the meeting date; then clicking on the video icon. The Board’s decision to return to virtual meetings was made after the 09/02/2021 announcement from the Governor's Office: “Governor Hochul Signs Legislation Extending Virtual Public Meetings” https://www.governor.ny.gov/news/governor-hochul-signs-legislation-extending-virtual-public-meetings[MEETING FORMAT]: The public may actively participate in the meeting / webinar to provide comments during the public comment period at the start of the meeting and / or during a public hearing by registering to attend the Planning Board meeting via Zoom. A registration link is provided below and can also be accessed via the meeting agenda (click on the registration link; complete the registration form in its entirety; click on “Register”). After completing the registration form, you will receive a confirmation email which contains information about joining the meeting / webinar. On the day of the meeting, 15-30 minutes prior to the start of the meeting, click on the link to join the webinar so that you will be prepared to provide comments when called upon. When it is time to provide public comment, you will be asked to turn on your audio and video. Once your public comment is completed, your audio and video will be disabled but you will still be able to remain in the meeting to hear & view the Board’s discussion. Similar to in-person meetings at Town Hall, public comments on regular agenda items are allowed during public hearings as well as the public comment period at the start of the meeting.[WRITTEN COMMENTS]: Public comments must be received by the Planning Board no later than 3:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting so they can be distributed to the Board, incorporated into the application file, and uploaded to the meeting agenda.
