Secure Shredding: limited to residents and BCSD taxpayers with ID only; 3 medium boxes per household.
Adult bicycles will be collected for donation and reuse by Troy Bike Rescue volunteers. Bicycles in good, rideable shape or that need minor repairs are fine to donate. Adult bikes ONLY this first year please! (NO kids bikes, tricycles, scooters, strollers, kiddy cars, etc. please.) All donated bikes go to Troy Bike Rescue.
Books collected for reuse or recycling. Please sort and label into two categories: "To Donate" (gently used/newer) and "To Recycle" (poor shape or obsolete)
Wearable clothing and useable textiles will be worn/reused by people in need; non-wearable clothing/non-useable textiles will recycled for fiber.
Event is outdoors. Please wear a mask if unvaccinated or for extra protection.

RECYCLING THROUGHOUT THE YEAR
Clothing and Textiles: Clothing, footwear, and textiles can also be donated for reuse and recycling in the collection bins at the CDTA Elm Ave Park & Ride, Town Municipal Lot at 407 Kenwood Avenue (by Hughes Opticians), the Rupert Road Transfer Station or with local charitable organizations. Electronics: Recycle televisions, computers, printers, monitors, peripherals, etc. and all cables year-round at the Town's Rupert Road Transfer Station.
Mixed Paper, Cardboard and Books: Recycle at the Town's Rupert Road Transfer Station (except hardcover books) or with your private hauler.
