Welcome!  Here at the Town Clerk’s Office, we are ready to serve and assist you.  Our office provides a variety of licenses, permits and services to the public, including the following:

  • Emergency alarm permits
  • E-ZPass tags
  • Fishing licenses
  • Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) requests

  • Parking permits for persons with disabilities
  • Marriage licenses
  • Marriage transcripts 
  • One-Day marriage officiant licenses
  • Notary services
  • Peddler permits

In addition, the Town Clerk is the records management and access officer responsible for accepting, filing, recording and maintaining all municipal records.  The Town Clerk attends all Town Board meetings and is responsible for recording the actions of the Town Board, including all adopted resolutions and local laws.  The Town Clerk authors and maintains the minutes of these meetings which are maintained as the official record of the Town Board.  The Town Clerk is also the registrar of vital statistics - recording and maintaining records of any births and deaths that occur in the Town.

Payment Information

Please consult our Fee Schedule for fee information.  We accept cash or check made payable to the Town of Bethlehem.  WE DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS AT THIS TIME.
