The Drinking Water Source Protection Plan (DWSP) was developed in conjunction with the NYS Department of Health and was formally adopted by the Town of Bethlehem on April 23rd, 2025. The DWSP2 provides a guide for the Town to proactively protect our public source water from contamination, enhance environmental protections, increase community stewardship in drinking water and strengthen local relationships to foster collaboration. This is done by identifying contaminants of concern and delineating protection areas to develop a series of protection measures.
